Sea Urchin Ornaments

These sea urchin ornaments are hand-crafted from purple, green, pink or Sputnick sea urchin shells. Sputnick urchins are available in two sizes, either 1" diameter or 2.5-3" diameter. The wood for the icicles are exotic hardwoods including Macasser ebony, padauk, bubinga, olivewood, mara, pink ivory, various rosewoods, redheart and bloodwood. I usually make about a dozen new urchin ornaments each year before the fall craft shows. We can gild the urchins with gold, copper, silver or mixed metal flakes.
