Boxes

Many of our boxes are made from locally available hardwoods like beech, maple, cherry or walnut. Banksia pods are the seed pods of a tree that grows in Australia. We decorate the lids of many of our boxes by adding inlays of wood or antler.

Round bottom spalted maple box with bocote Lid (2.5" x 2.25", $35, sold) Spalted beech box. Spalting means that the wood was attacked by fungi either before or after the tree died. Spalting causes the brown and black streaks in the wood.($35)
